Adaptation of Homer's classic tale about the adventures of Odysseus. After the Greek victory at Troy, Odysseus is hindered in returning home by the gods he has offended and must overcome a series of obstacles. All the while, Odysseus's wife, uncertain of his fate, struggles to keep at bay the many suitors who, thinking her a widow, have come to claim her.
