Scott James (Chuck Norris) is a retired martial arts expert whose life has been plagued by two differing kinds of flashbacks.
The first form of flashback takes him back to to his childhood memories of rigorous martial arts training he and a friend had under the leadership of a sharp master.

However when he learns that it was the same outfit that killed his parents and girlfriend the whole affair takes on a more personal and vengeful aspect and as he gets closer to the truth, Scott learns more devastating facts about these men.
