The Mummy Returns (2001)

Directed by
Stephen Sommers

This film starts off 10 years after where the first movie left off and centres around Alex (Freddie Boath), the 9-year-old son of Rick (Brendan Fraser) and Evie Carnahan O'Connell (Rachel Weisz).

The mummified remains of Imhotep and Anck-su-Numam are shipped to London to be used as a museum exhibit.

This film changes slightly in the way that this movies villain isn't Imhotep, it is in fact Anck-su-Numam (Patricia Velazquez) who wants Alex as she believes that he is the key to the reincarnation of the Egyptian God, Isis.
