Fans of Disney's 1967 family favourite Jungle Book, based on Rudyard Kipling's classic stories, will love this sequel, which takes up the story where the original finished. Mowgli's living in the "man village", and missing his home in the jungle. So when the lovable big bear Baloo arrives for a visit, Mowgli decides to return to the jungle with his friend and get back to the "Bare Necessities". But Mowgli's friend Shanti thinks he's been kidnapped, and follows him... Bear and boy have a lot of fun in the jungle, but trouble's brewing. Tiger Shere Khan has a long memory, and is out for revenge. That's serious enough for Mowgli and Baloo, but even worse for the less jungle-wise Shanti. Adventure, alongside a big helping of fun, and some great music old and new, make this a hugely enjoyable film for all ages.
