Rancher Myrl Redding, fed up with the lawlessness in his frontier town, decides to take the law into his own hands to punish a fellow rancher who has been abusing Redding's horses and their Native American caretaker. But, when his family and his life come under threat, Redding begins to think he may have taken his own brand of justice a step too far.
