Jackie Gleason and Art Carney starred in the 1955-56 US comedy series on which this gently amusing, charismatic and unusual film is based. More than 50 years later, Cedric the Entertainer and Mike Epps do a fantastic job of taking over the roles and making them their own. This is the story of two New York couples who live in a rented house and dream of owning their own place. Then they get an opportunity to buy a condo from an old lady at a very reasonable price. Both couples have been saving, the only trouble is that, bus driver, Ralph is a dreamer, always getting sucked into get-rich-quick schemes, and he's lost all his savings. Does this mean that he and long-suffering wife Alice will lose their dream? Will sewage worker Ed and his wife go it alone? This is a touching and funny film.
