While rummaging around for some bootleg kung-fu DVDs in a pawn shop in Boston's Chinatown, Jason (Michael Angarano) discovers an ancient golden staff. When he examines the staff closely, he finds himself magically transported back to ancient China where he is quested to free a fabled warrior, the Monkey King, with the help of a kung-fu master (Jackie Chan, pictured) and a misfit warrior (Jet Li). If he doesn't succeed, he may be trapped deep in the past forever.
Surprisingly, this marks the first on-screen pairing of these two giants of the martial arts world. Both Chan and Li display the kind of jaw-dropping fighting skills we've come to expect and be amazed by. And with action choreography from the man behind the moves in The Matrix and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, you know that you've got a film that no fight fan should miss.
