A cowpoke is steering his cattle north to the Canadian border when a corrupt sheriff commandeers the herd. A local saloon-bar owner falls for the hapless cowboy, and with her help he recaptures his cattle. Hooking up with a wagon train, the couple head for the mining town of Dawson, but the thwarted and embittered sheriff is on their tail. Western, with James Stewart, Walter Brennan and Ruth Roman.
