Romantic comedy drama about a con woman who weds a lonely gas station attendant in a bid to gain a share of a lucrative inheritance. Following the failure of one of her money-making plans, the wily woman finds herself in great debt and fearing for her life. When she learns of the attendant's imminent windfall, she schemes to seduce him into marriage. But it seems her emotions may prove more powerful than she anticipated.
