Best buddies Mitch Planko and Dave Lockwood live very different lives. Dave (Jason Bateman) is contently married, balancing a subdued love life with odorous offspring and a sizeable mortgage. Mitch (Ryan Reynolds) couldn't be more different. He's a wild singleton on a one-man mission to sleep his way through the phonebook, living in a bachelor pad and enjoying a supreme lack of responsibility.
Both yearn for more and after a couple of beers and a heart-to-heart they discover that while Dave is desperate for a chance to lose responsibility, Mitch wants to sample the family life. Accidently triggering off a magical sequence of events, they are horrified to wake one morning with their wishes come true.
Wedding Crashers director David Dobkin assembles a delightful cast, with Leslie Mann in particular humorously sending up some popular marital stereotypes
Plenty of fun is delivered with both leading men showing some great comic timing. Both have some laugh-inducing previous and they continue to spark on screen, if not quite setting it alight.
Another amusing addition to the filmographies of a cheerfully enjoyable cast, this is easy viewing that will at least leave a smile on your face.
