Harper Stewart is an author and his autobiographical novel is just about ready for general release.
His life, at present, involves his girlfriend Robin, whom craves committment, and he's been asked by his best friend Lance, a professional athlete, to be best man at his forthcoming marriage.
As Harper arrives in New York early, to spend some time with Lance and other friends, he awaits the arrival of Robin whom will arrive just in time for the ceremony.
However one of the people present is Jordan, his former almost-lover who is now big in the media world and is privillaged to have read Harper's novel already.
However as the friends talk, about general things such as work and how women never meet their double standards, Jordan unveils that she would quite like to rekindle her 'relationship' with Harper, or at least for that one night.
As all of this is going on, the thought at the back of Harper's mind is his fear that Lance will read his book and discover that his seemingly 'virginal' bride-to-be has, in fact, had a one-night stand with Harper as revenge for Lance's many affairs.
Now the question everyone wants asked is: Can Harper mature before Lance kills him, Jordan seduces him, and he loses Robin? Who can tell?
