Queen Latifah plays Belle, a larger than life character, in this car chase comedy. Loud and proud Belle has just been promoted from courier to taxi driver, having set a cross-town record on her last day in the job. Now, with her souped up cab, she's the fastest ride in town. She loves her new job - until inept and over eager cop Andy Washburn hops into her cab. He's chasing a gang of female Brazilian bank robbers, led by the sexy and sultry Vanessa, played by Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen in her first film part.
