Take Me Home Tonight (2011)

Directed by
Michael Dowse

Michael Dowse's 1980s-set comedy starring Topher Grace. Matt is an MIT graduate who has underachieved on his once-big ambitions and is now working at a video store. It's there that he bumps into Tori, his high-school crush, who's now a rich and successful banker. Still keen to win her affections, he pretends he doesn't work at the store and is instead flying high at Goldman Sachs. The lie sets in train a series of scrapes, deceptions and unexpected events that will, eventually, lead to the characters facing the future with a slightly more mature outlook. Also starring Anna Faris, and Demetri Martin, in a cameo as a wheelchair-using classmate who's full of rage towards his old school chums.
