Drama set in New York during the hot summer of 1977. While the Son of Sam continues his murder spree, suspicion falls on anyone out of the ordinary. As a hairdresser continues to cheat on his wife with any woman he meets, he soon finds that his neighbours believe an old friend of his - who has returned to the neighbourhood as a punk - is the Son of Sam.
