It took four years, 115 puppets and a crew of 150 to bring Anders Rønnow-Klarlund's animated film to the screen. It tells the story of Prince Hal, who sets out to avenge his dead father against his city's rivals, the Zeriths, little knowing his wicked uncle Nezo is the real killer, with his own designs on the throne. The director uses the puppet strings to show the life force, stretching to the skies as the characters' umbilical link to life in this unusual, intriguing fantasy.
