Autry becomes the executor of a friend's estate and gets a juvenile delinquent in the deal. He has to try to keep the kid away from flashy gambler Armstrong, who keeps trying to snare the kid so he can get the money. Autry sends the boy to military school, but the boy runs to Armstrong. Finally, the kid realizes he is in pretty deep, so Autry and the military cadets come to the rescue.
