Graphically violent Western based on real events, centring around two survivors of a Cheyenne attack on a cavalry group in 1864. One is a woman who has lived with the Native Americans for two years and knows that they have much to fear from the settlers, and the other is an army private staunchly devoted to the cause of the American government. Their journey leads them to a cavalry campsite on the eve of an attack on a Cheyenne village.
