Basic Instinct scriptwriter Joe Eszterhas adapts Ira Levin's novel to provide Sharon Stone with another serving of erotic thrills. Director Phillip Noyce keeps the action slick as book editor Carly Norris moves into William Baldwin's ultra-modern apartment building where she meets author Jack. The building is bristling with concealed cctv cameras, allowing the film to get up close and personal as it explores themes of voyeurism, deception and murder.
