A remote Pacific island facility that breeds mutant snakes is forced to close amidst rising military tensions. The scientists leading the project are reluctant to abandon their research and smuggle a selection of serpents on board a Taiwan bound submarine. However, when the vessel is struck by a Chinese torpedo, the deadly creatures escape captivity and begin to hunt the unsuspecting crew.
