After the success of Scary Movie, a sequel was a certainty, and director Keenen Ivory Wayans rounded up the survivors of the original, Cindy, Ray, Shorty and Brenda for this gag-fest. Beginning with an OTT take on The Exorcist with a cameo from James Woods as Father McFeely, the movie then moves to a haunted house, where the students' professor is conducting a sleep deprivation experiment, which involves them all being chased by various ghosts and ghouls. A host of films are referenced along the way, including Hollow Man, What Lies Beneath and Hannibal.
