Slapstick comedy in which two inept kidnappers abduct the wife of a crooked businessman in the sadly mistaken belief that he will cough up $50,000 to get her back. In fact he is delighted - he was contemplating having her killed anyway - and simply ignores the ransom demand and basks all too briefly in the delusion that he has seen the last of her.
