When a wealthy businessman is found dead and his wife disappears, her masseur lover becomes a suspect. The businessman wants a reason to divorce his wife and so pays a former baseball player $50,000 to sleep with her, unaware that the two are already having an affair. When he is murdered, the wife is prime suspect, and to complicate matters further, she meets a woman claiming to be her dead husband's real wife.
