To avoid a dual wedding in Australia, two American vaudevillians - Harold (Bob Hope) and George (Bing Crosby) - hightail it out to the Island of Bali as deep-sea divers, working for Prince Arok. But they soon discover that Arok plans to steal treasure belonging to Princess Lalah (Dorothy Lamour) whom they both fall in love with.

The typical slapstick humour between the two stars, fighting over Lalah's affections, combines with classic comic action in a funny and highly watchable movie.
