Richie Rich (Macauley Culkin) is the richest kid in the entire world - he's got absolute trillions to spend on anything he wants. In fact he has everything anyone could ask for except....companionship.
While representing his father at a factory opening he spies some kids playing baseball across the street and asks to join them, but they don't want him to and now he realises how lonely he is.
However when Richie's fathers company executive, Laurence Van Dough (John Larroquette) devises a plan to kill off the entire Rich family, Richie must take control of the situation and look after the business, "Rich Industries" while trying to find his parents with the help of his new found friends.
