Based on the novel by Thomas Hardy, this is the dramatic and passionate story of Eustacia (Catherine Zeta Jones), a woman torn between two men. One a past love now betrothed to someone new and the other the mysterious Clym, nicknamed 'the native' returning to the small country village after five years in Paris.
