Cult director Joseph H. Lewis directs this major film set during the Korean war. Frank Lovejoy stars as a marine battalion commander, with WWII vet Richard Carlson and, in one of his first adult roles, Russ Tamblyn among his men. The film follows them as they fight their way to a strategic reservoir and then, faced by overwhelming Chinese reinforcements, have to fight their way back to their own lines.
