When a city in Washington state becomes the first line of attack in an invasion of the USA by the Soviet Union and its allies, a group of high school patriots retreat to the surrounding woods, where they organise themselves into a band of resistance fighters and undergo training in guerilla warfare. As World War III begins, the brave Wolverines do their utmost to defend their town and their country.
