Steve Carr's comedy stars Martin Lawrence as Roy McCormick, a basketball coach with anger issues who eventually ends up facing a lengthy ban. His agent suggests a little humility might lessen the blow and gets him a job coaching the Smelters, probably the worst school team in town. At first despairing of a team who can't catch, pass or shoot, McCormick licks them into shape. But on the eve of their big match, he receives an offer to return to top level coaching. Will he take the offer or stay with the Smelters in their hour of need?
