James Gabriel (Eric Roberts) has a son with a lethal virus. The only way James can save the boy is to purchase a rare and costly vaccine from medical empire Lifecorps. As he doesn't have the readies to hand, he sells himself for spare parts and raises the $300K. But when the boy dies unexpectedly, Gabriel has a problem. Although the vaccine didn't hit the spot, Lifecorps isn't the kind of outfit to quibble - it wants its 200 pounds of Hollywood horseflesh.
Now, Gabriel's on the move, with a posse of modern-day bounty hunters after him. Among them is Burke (Elwes), perhaps the most deadly player in the game, a man who has carved his name and fortune from the corpses of his 'finds'. Teaming up with another renegade, Alex (Sarah Wynter), Gabriel realises that he has just one chance of survival. He must penetrate the very headquarters of Lifecorps and take aim at its chief.
