P.S. I Love You (2007)

Director Richard LaGravenese's romantic drama based on the novel by Cecila Ahern, stars Hilary Swank as Holly Kennedy, a New York real estate agent forced to come to terms with the unexpected death of her young husband Gerry (Gerard Butler).

Before he died, Gerry wrote her a series of letters, to be delivered across the forthcoming year, hoping to help her grieve. The letters give her vivid flashbacks to their life together and, under his written direction, she visits Gerry's parents in Ireland, where she ultimately finds the strength to move on.
