World War II drama set in the Pacific. Racked with guilt following the death of his skipper in action, a US Navy lieutenant leads his submarine in battle against the Japanese. At the same time, he hopes to be reunited with his ex-wife, a navy nurse. But the nurse is currently being wooed by a navy pilot, who also happens to be the brother of the submarine's late commander.
