A woman is instructed by her employer attorney to take a young girl, whose wealthy parents are engaged in a divorce suit, to an isolated country resort, to shelter the girl from newspaper reports and publicity. An aspiring novelist, a snooping private detective, and a journalist also descent onto the resort hoping to get a good story.
