Sentimental comedy drama continuing the story of a young girl's coming of age. Now 13, Vada Sultenfuss is set a school project to write about someone she has never met. Researching the life of her mother - who died when she was a baby - Vada visits her uncle to gather more information and strikes up a friendship with his girlfriend's son. Together they attempt to solve the mysteries of her mother's life.
