When the beloved King (Sean Bean) of a fantastical land vanishes, his wicked wife Gertrude (Roberts) ascends the throne and begins a torturous reign of terror. In her husband's absence, the jealous Queen keeps her beautiful step-daughter Snow White (Lily Collins) locked away for many years, but when she catches the eye of wealthy Prince Alcott (Armie Hammer), the devious monarch banishes her to the forest in a bid to eliminate the competition.
Vulnerable in the wilderness, Snow White is taken in by seven sneaky dwarves who set about helping her overthrow her step mother, nab prince charming and perhaps get her fairytale ending.
