Christophe Honore's film stars Louis Garrel as a moody teenager forced to spend his holiday with his parents at their summer home on the Canary Islands. While he isn't close to his father, he feels close to his mother and when Duclos is killed in a car accident, the pair's initial emotional dependence moves dangerously towards breaching familial boundaries.
