Natalie Cole, singer and daughter of the sensational Nat King Cole, stars in this touching family drama set in 1957 Alabama. When an African-American nanny leaves her white middle class family to return home for Christmas, she discovers the little boy she is nanny to has smuggled himself in with her luggage. Causing complications and accusations of kidnapping, the lonely young boy is still overjoyed at the chance to be with his closest friend and to find new playmates in the countryside, from whom he learns some useful life lessons.
