A festival of Australian toilet humour, this spoof documentary will not be to everyone's tastes. Melbourne stand-up comedian Shane Jacobson (pictured) stars as Kenny Smyth, a genial portaloo plumber. He delivers portaloos to festivals and then carries the can for any problems.
Not only does Kenny have a tricky time at work, but he gets both barrels from his family. His dad ridicules his job: "I didn't put you through school to become a glorified turdburglar." His son's embarrassed about his career, while his wife has split. "Cut out the middleman," says Kenny about marriage. "Find someone you hate and buy them a house."
This wry mockumentary is a friends and family affair. Shane is the star, his brother's the director and their dad plays, er, the dad. Released in 2007, it's a film to give septic tanks a run for their money.
