Tom is a middle-aged hitman, Jerry his eager protégé. After a series of hits Jerry meets a girl and gets married and becomes rather better at his second job, a used car salesman. Meanwhile, as a hitman, he is becoming increasingly reckless and matters come to a head when he botches a job. Time for Tom to take control in Saul Rubineck's superb debut feature about two ordinary guys who happen to have unusual careers.
