Academy Award® nominee Clive Owen and winner Nicole Kidman portray literary legend Ernest Hemingway and war correspondent Martha Gellhorn. The pair embarked on a passionate romance that spanned several countries, including warzones, with Gellhorn cited as the inspiration behind Hemingway's Pulitzer Prize-nominated work For Whom the Bell Tolls.

As the old adage goes, all good things come to an end, and it's not long before their relationship starts to crumble. As well as an esteemed ensemble that includes the award-garlanded David Strathairn, Molly Parker and Parker Posey, the star wattage continues behind the camera.
