Robert De Niro and Sylvester Stallone star as old boxing rivals who come out of retirement for one final match in this star-studded sports comedy from the director of 50 First Dates.
Stallone is Henry ‘Razor’ Sharp and De Niro is Billy ‘The Kid’ McDonnen, two Pittsburgh based pugilists whose fierce rivalry once put them in the national spotlight. Each had scored a victory against the other in their heyday, but in 1983, on the eve of their decisive third match, Razor suddenly announced his retirement.
Thirty years later, boxing promoter Dante Slate Jr (Kevin Hart) persuades these grumpy old rivals to get back in the ring for a grudge match to settle the score once and for all.
Proving that two of Hollywood’s old-timers can still pack a punch, this knock-out comedy is a frivolous treat for sports movie fans, as the stars of Rocky and Raging Bull slug it out for the ultimate bragging rights.
