Family adventure. A 12-year-old boy wakes up to find that he can talk to his new dog, Hubble. He learns that dogs originally came to Earth to colonise it, and Hubble has been sent on a mission from space by the Greater Dane to see if this destiny has been fulfilled. When Hubble discovers that dogs are merely pets, it is a race against time to prepare the local mutts for the Greater Dane's visit - or risk being removed from the planet.
