In this romantic comedy, Matthew McConaughey plays Connor Mead, a womanising bachelor who is returning to the family fold for his brother Paul's wedding.
The commitment-phobic singleton has a particularly jaundiced view of love, and thinks nothing of causing chaos on his sibling's big day. But, before too much damage can be done, Connor is visited by the ghost of his late uncle, Wayne, who tells him to expect visitations from spirits intent on putting his love life back on track. And, sure enough, Allison Vandermeersh - his high school lover - materialises and points out how close he and Jenny Perroti - who is also attending the wedding - were back then.
But will this spectral jolt be enough to put him right? Will Jenny be even the slightest bit interested after all these years? And what will the Ghosts of Girlfriends Present and Future have to say to the philanderer?
