Story of a poor widow who raises her sons Gunga and Jumna against all odds. Falsely accused of theft by their landlord, the humiliation causes her death and leaves the two sons to fend for themselves. Years later, Jumna has moved to the city where he becomes a police officer while his brother Gunga, framed for a crime he did not commit, becomes a bandit. Through a series of plot twists, the two brothers finally come face to face and at this moment of reckoning, Jumna must choose between upholding family loyalty or sacrificing it for justice.
