The latest comedy from producer Judd Apatow opens with jingle writer Peter Bretter (Jason Segel, pictured, left) getting ditched - in his birthday suit - by TV crimefighter Sarah Marshall (Kristen Bell, pictured). Peter flees to Oahu, where things start looking up. The weather's hot, the sea's warm and receptionist Rachel (Mila Kunis) seems interested. It's hard not to be happy in Hawaii... until Peter bumps into Sarah, on the arm of sexy British rocker Aldous (a scene-stealing Russell Brand, pictured, right).
If there's anyone in Hollywood right now with the Midas touch, it's Judd Apatow. He's only directed two movies (Knocked Up and The 40 Year-Old Virgin), but he's had a hand in dozens of comedies. And although he hands off directing duties to former screenwriting partner Nichola Stoller, Apatow still ropes in a handful of regulars, including Jonah Hill as a waiter with a crush on Aldous, and Paul Rudd as surfing instructor Kunu.
