Lovers of stand-up comedy will enjoy this wickedly funny look at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and some of the eccentric and unusual people who frequent the Scottish capital during the August gathering. Set during the build-up to the Comedy Awards, we meet many entertaining characters including Sean, the obnoxious TV comic, as well as his ex-alcoholic assistant Petra. All the comedians are desperate to win, and many will stop at nothing to get that glittering top prize. A succession of hilarious jokes and one-liners will keep you laughing through a beautifully observed black comedy with some excellent performances.
