Asif Kapadia's follow-up to his award-winning The Warrior is set in the Arctic's frozen tundra. Saiva and Anja, a young woman Saiva has raised from infancy, survive by hunting, and keeping away from other people, living a lonely nomadic life. But when they find the injured Loki, Saiva nurses him back to health. But as he gains his strength, the two women begin to vie for his affections, leading to a terrible act of revenge.
