It's pretty safe to say that without The Ramones, there would have been no punk rock. Formed in the mid-70s, they simply played their songs at breakneck speed to adoring audiences on both sides of the Atlantic. But behind the scenes, as Michael Gramaglia and Jim Fields' documentary shows, there were personal tensions, rows and deaths and while they never made the big time, the film proves that their influence on music remains undiminished.
