Don't be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood (1995)

Directed by
Paris Barclay

Written and starring the two brothers Shawn and Marlon Wayans is a merciless parody of the spate of "gangsta" Afro-American films. The gags come fast and furious as Shawn and Marlon Wayans star as two homies caught in a rough 'hood. In the tradition of Naked Gun and the Airplane movies the jokes may not be subtle but even a passing understanding of the genre ensures you get the jokes including Loc Dog's grandmother, a gun-toting, trigger-happy lady who is keen to make her grandson tough enough to survive this surreal urban nightmare.
