Digimon: The Movie (2000)

Directed by
Shigeyasu Yamauchi

A powerful new Digimon has hatched and has now started to eat data like a massive and deadly computer virus, at an exponential rate. This new and powerful DigiMon is the Internet Digimon which very rapidly digi-volves to its mega form called, Diabormon.

In his mega form, Diabormon starts to take over worldwide communications while preparing to launch missiles from the U.S. to Japan.

With time fast running out, only the combined efforts of a worldwide network of kids, plus a new mega-hero named Omnimon, stand in the way of this certain global disaster.

One of the kids encouraging the DigiDestined during the battle on the Net is Wallace, who has become the human companion of twin Digimon. However, the Internet battle results in one of these Digimon becoming separated from Wallace.

Now the lost Digimon grows up very confused, and four years later it kidnaps the original DigiDestined kids in a misguided attempt to find Wallace.

It's now up to a new team of DigiDestined heroes to defeat the wayward but dangerous Digimon and rescue the older kids.
