This prequel has a curious history. The success of the original saw a pilot and opening episodes shot for a TV series but, when it was cancelled at the last minute, the footage was turned into this TV movie. Robin Dunne plays the role of the roue determined to de-flower innocent Sarah Thompson, egged on by a deliciously slutty Amy Adams. With more adult scenes than could have been shown in a TV series, this is a fascinating, if uneven, oddity.
